Quick Movement Assessments and When to Seek Help
Do friends, clients, and family note weakness, unsteadiness, pain, posture, fatigue, and/or poor decision-making that limit their ability to safely function in their home and have a good quality of life? Learn a few easy tricks to determine this, and when to seek help.
Presented by Dyan Chaney, Doctor of Physical Therapy
Dyan Chaney has a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Florida, a Master’s in Physical Therapy from NSU, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Tennessee. Dyan’s interest in movement began at age 2 when she started ballet and instructing and competing in aerobic dance at 13. Dyan has worked as a physical therapist in Broward County for over 25 years (including Cleveland Clinic), and founded an outpatient practice that treated dancers from travelling Broadway Shows. She currently owns Home Health Boutique, a concierge home health practice that provides quality comprehensive aged-care services using non-traditional treatments including yoga, Pilates, dance, aquatics, and pain music therapy.
