Quick Movement Assessments
and When to Seek Help

Do friends, clients, and family note weakness, unsteadiness, pain, posture, fatigue, and/or poor decision-making that limit their ability to safely function in their home and have a good quality of life?  Learn a few easy tricks to determine this, and when to seek help.

Presented by Dyan Chaney,
Doctor of Physical Therapy

Dyan Chaney has a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Florida, a Master’s in Physical Therapy from NSU, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Tennessee.  Dyan’s interest in movement began at age 2 when she started ballet and instructing and competing in aerobic dance at 13.   Dyan has worked as a physical therapist in Broward County for over 25 years (including Cleveland Clinic), and founded an outpatient practice that treated dancers from travelling Broadway Shows.  She currently owns Home Health Boutique, a concierge home health practice that provides quality comprehensive aged-care services using non-traditional treatments including yoga, Pilates, dance, aquatics, and pain music therapy.

Dyan Chaney has asked that participants complete this survey prior to attending the meeting
